I believe our mental health is immensely vital as well as a deeply personal and intimate subject. As a practicing psychiatrist in the Los Angeles area specializing in both addiction and general psychiatry, I aim to provide individualized and empathetic care. Struggling with mental illness and addiction can be extremely challenging  and painful. Your experiences are unique to you, and I understand that a comprehensive diagnosis and flexible treatment plan are essential to improvement and successful recovery.

I have trained and practiced in multiple clinical settings across the Los Angeles area including the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Olive View County Hospital, and the Veteran Affairs medical centers. This variety of clinical settings has afforded me the opportunity of working with people from different backgrounds and with varied experiences. My goal in treatment is to emphasize individualized comprehensive care with a focus on the integration of evidence based pharmacology and psychotherapy specific to patient needs. I tailor care out of the fundamental understanding that mental health treatment is sensitive and unique for patients and their loved ones.

Following graduation from Kent State University, I received my medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. I completed my Psychiatry Residency at the UCLA- San Fernando Valley Program and graduated from the UCLA- Cedars Sinai Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship. Currently, along with seeing private practice patients at the Solstice Clinic, I work as a consultant at multiple rehabilitation centers around the Los Angeles area specializing in dual diagnosis and addiction treatment.
